So, I’m not typically one to really get on board with some of the self-help theories out there, but this book gave me pause. The ideas behind The Miracle Morning seem logical and probable.

If you have a desire to try and read a self-help book, then I recommend this one and here’s why: legitimate action items. This book doesn’t give you theoretical, fluffy sh*t to roll around in your mind without solid action to be taken. Instead Hal Elrod gives you exact step by step actions to “transform your life” through TMM. Which for me seems like a key part of self-help books. I cant fathom how a person can help themselves if they only have theories and ideas to THINK on, rather than actions to ACT on…but who am I kidding, I’ve only read a handful of self-help books, so maybe I have no idea what I’m talking about. *shrug*

The principles to TMM are simple, and I wont ruin them by disclosing that information here, but I genuinely like the structure and ideas behind TMM. They seem likely to be not only helpful, but maintainable.

Now you’re probably asking, “well, Rochelle, have you ‘transformed your life’ through The Miracle Morning??” No, not yet okay. *sassy head bob* At this very moment in time I have to get up SUPER early to get to work each day and adding another hour to my morning routine is just not feasible. However, I am working to change that now and hope that in the very near future I can implement TMM practices into my morning. Hal says you can make your “Miracle Morning” at any time of day, but I kinda like the idea of it staying in the morning and don’t really want to get myself used to the idea at another time of day.

I am, however, using some of the ideas and steps now to help me wake up better each day with some success. I’ve seen a noticeable improvement in my ability to make and maintain good habits by implementing those ideas into my life. So in some ways I guess you could say that I have “transformed my life” in small ways.

When the “near future” does come to pass, I will see about updating this post to let you know how full implementation of TMM is going. (I honestly do not know exactly when that will be. I’m hoping within a few weeks or a month, but I’m afraid it’ll be closer to a few months. *sigh*)

    1. Yeah, I saw your about section and was like “I don’t even care, this girl’s getting my follow. Texan to Texan.”
      I rarely see anyone review them either, but I thought I would on this one since I feel like it’s got usable content.
